What I minted this week
This week was pretty light for me onchain compared to the last month. I consciously tried staying offline a bit more than usual this week because I've been heads down thinking about the path ahead for Onchain Letters & Terminally Onchain in terms of shipping priorities, brand consolidation, etc. Stay tuned for more details in next week's post đź‘€
Defend Uniswap Labs
In case you missed the news, Uniswap Labs received a Wells notice from the SEC on Wednesday.
A wells notice is a formal note issued by the SEC informing companies that the staff is ready to take action against them because they believe the corporation (or individual) has violated some securities laws.
I’m not surprised. Just annoyed, disappointed, and ready to fight.

I minted this Defend Uniswap Labs Pooly piece to show support for the crypto ecosystem. What happens with the SEC and Uniswap will set precedence for not just one company but the entire DeFi sector.
There's a lot of tribalism in crypto, but the one thing I love about this space is that when the government comes down on a crypto company (i.e. Coinbase, Ripple, Uniswap), the ecosystem comes together to support each other...remember the Stand with Crypto mint from 2023?

Workstation 95
This was fun retro mint by @sgt_slaughtermelon called Workstation95.
I was a huge fan of the mint website - it gave a super nostalgic feeling of using an old Windows Desktop. I wasn't surprised sgt dropped this collection, I've minted a couple of his old school mints earlier this year as well. His whole vibe goes perfectly with the /techarchive channel I host on Farcaster.

“Workstation” is a fun word because it’s genuinely a part of the old era of Windows, with Windows NT Workstation, but also it’s kind of funny that you can call something as fun and cool as one of these Vaporwave creations a “workstation” and still be accurate. Are desktops for work or for fun? If they’re for both - how can we distinguish when we’ve had enough and should do something else? What else is it you want to do, and where?
Ethereum OverSimplified
One of my friends (and early Onchain Letters subscriber) @chaskin.eth launched a new project called Ethereum OverSimplified on Zora this week.
Though many of us work full time in the space, it's still difficult for most to keep up with what discussions & debates are happening in regards to core Ethereum protocol development.
Jason is taking some of the trending topics that folks from the Ethereum Foundation and OG Ethereum researchers are actively thinking about and sharing that information in bite sized visuals.
This week he posted two. The first covered the pros/cons around a heated debate regarding the issuance curve:
And in the second he gave a tl;dr on the future of Ethereum accounts...think EIP 4337, EIP 3074, etc.
Higher Collective Inaugural Mint
This was a fun mint launched by the Higher Collective, which is an active group of creators & builders working in the Higher ecosystem through the party (higher.party).
This first mint was a collage of all the different pieces that artists have made in the past month since the $higher token launched.
